  A: Thanks for your question! PG or propylene glycol is an organic compound (a diol alcohol), usually a faintly sweet, odorless, and colorless clear viscous liquid that is hygroscopic and miscible with water and acetone. Propylene glycol is recognized as generally safe for human consumption by the Food and Drug Administration. It is used in food coloring, and flavoring, as an additive to keep food, medicines and cosmetics moist, and in machines that simulate smoke. Propylene glycol functions to provide the vapor mist that looks like smoke and to suspend flavor.
  Vegetable glycerin is a compound that comes from vegetable oil, usually palm or coconut. It has strong humectant properties, meaning it is able to retain moisture. It is clear, colorless and sweet. Because it is soluble in water and alcohol and natural, it is beneficial for manufacturing purposes and is one of the most common additives in a range of food products.
  In terms of why one would prefer PG over VG, or vice versa, although the vast majority of our customers notice little to no difference between the two, a small number of people find propylene glycol to be an irritant (sore throat, etc.) Thus, we launched Red Oak Smoke Juice so everyone is able to enjoy Smoke Juice by Johnson Creek.

Q: Is this juice (TN. Cured) the same as Blu e-cigs' "Classic Tobacco?"

  A: While blu e-cigarettes do contain our Smoke Juice, the Smoke Juice we make for blu is exclusively produced for blu's cartomizers. For a similar flavor to the blu Classic Tobacco I would suggest trying our Red Oak Domestic Blend or our JC Original Smoke Juice.

  A: I have been steered to JohnsonCreek in hopes that I would find the same flavor in Blucigs Classic tobacco.
  I think I have matched it closely by mixing 1/3 JC original 2.4 with 2/3 JC Red Oak 1.8.
  It has that vanilla/camel, with the kick needed by true smokers.
  Give it a try. Much better than BluCigs due to the body & nicotine content.
  I have not tried the Red Oak Domestic Blend with the JC Original Smoke Juice, but I will this week, and it is my guess that it will exceed anything BluCig offers
